There is a 'how to taste wine like a professional' video to kick things off, then 9 sip-size, easy to follow videos alongside downloadable cheat sheets covering each of the most important grapes. From Chardonnay to Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir to Merlot; it's all included in an easy-to-follow format.

Where? You'll learn important regions for each grape including where it grows best.

What? You'll also cover what the grape actually tastes like. What should you expect and what are the nuances around the world.

When? There will be pointers on when the best time to serve these wines are as well as which foods to try with them.

With these basic building blocks you can go on to explore even more treasures in the world of wine - whether it's with another Anna Spooner Wine course or simply taking your knowledge, and your new found confidence and starting your own wine adventure.

How It Works

The courses all feature a mix of videos and PDFs bringing each of the topics to life. There’s no exams, no deadlines and no expiry date, so you can rewatch the content as many times as you would like.

The videos can be streamed via the website or through a protected YouTube link so you can stream on any device, including your smart TV.

There are two options for how to ‘taste-along’ with the videos

Option 2: Nine Wine Samples Delivered Directly to Your Door

1. Order one of the specially designed taste-along sample packs with nine x 100ml serves that correspond with each of the course lessons. These state of the art sample packs can be stored at ambient temperature for 6 months meaning you can enjoy the course at your own pace for a more economical way to taste-along, especially for a solo wine adventurer.

2. Buy full bottles of wine from your preferred retailer thanks to a series of lists created especially for each session. The lists come from an assortment of retailers and for a range of price points. That way, not only will you be learning about wine, you will also be exploring new bottles from your preferred shop, and maybe even finding your new favourite.

But, in fact, you don’t even need to have a wine at all - you can simply watch along and absorb the theory.
