Wine tours in the Rhône and Provence

Bespoke, private tours and wine experiences planned and managed by an English speaking wine expert and bonafide Rhône resident

What makes a day with me special?

What does a day with me involve?

I have connections and knowledge (and an easy-to-understand English accent!)

My family have lived in Provence for nearly a decade and I moved from the UK to Suze-la-Rousse with my husband and our growing family in 2023.

These deep roots give me an unparalleled knowledge of the area - its appellations, its producers and (just as importantly!) its restaurants, as well as insight into French culture and local nuances that can be tricky to navigate without someone ‘in the know’.

I give you on-the-ground insight into what’s hot and what’s not, who the most exciting new producers are and which regions are worth seeking out and exploring. My tours and tastings are delivered to the highest international standard and I work with clients from all over the world of all ages, experience levels and group sizes.

I create totally unique, bespoke experiences to suit you.

I work with you to create a completely unique, bespoke experience that you won’t ever forget.

I can accommodate any group size, experience and knowledge level, price point and style preference. I will work alongside you to plan the perfect day.

So whether you want to get out into the vineyards or discover the secrets of winemaking; visit wineries you know and love or be encouraged to go ‘off the beaten track’ - anything can be arranged.

I can take you on walks in the vines, sneak behind the scenes in the cellar and help you to discover new treasures in the tasting groom.

If you’re choosing a full day of tasting, then I will also help you with lunch; whether that’s booking a restaurant I think you will like or organising a special picnic looking out over the vines, it’s all possible.

Some ideas of the sorts of tours that I can offer are covered below in my price list and truly unique opportunities are also available on request.

Where do I cover?

My speciality is the Southern Rhône and Provence.

I cover all the Cru appellation of the Southern Rhône (Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Gigondas, Vacqueyras, Tavel, Lirac, Rasteau, Cairanne, Beaumes-de-Venise, Vinsobres and Laudun). I can also take you to lesser known ‘Villages’ like Seguret, Suze-la-Rousse and Valreas, as well as Côtes de Provence to the south and the Northern Rhône valley too.

I can collect you, and pick up is included, in towns such as Avignon, Vaison-la-Romaine, Orange and the Southern Rhône villages.

I can also collect you from towns such as Arles, Gordes and beyond for a supplementary fee.

How long is a day?

I offer full and half days

Depending on your schedule and budget I can recommend full or half day tastings. Full day tastings will run from around 9:30 to 17:00 whereas half day tastings will typically last either the morning or the afternoon.

What else do you offer?

If you don’t want to leave the house, I can also bring the wines to you!

I also host a tailor-made wine tastings from the comfort of your rental property. Much like my tours, these are totally bespoke and can wines from anywhere in the world. However, most popular are my tastings that bring the region’s wines to life; either through comparing them to other examples around the world or by deep diving into all their nuances.

I can provide glassware (so no washing up!) and can work with you to select wines within your budget and for the style of tasting you would like.
